Which Excel version do I need?

In addition to latest Excel Online version, the add-in supports the following minimum versions of the desktop Excel software:

Mac:
Excel version 16.35 (20030802)
Windows for Office 365 or retail perpetual:
Excel version 2002, build 12527.20092
Windows for volume-licensed perpetual:
Excel 2021 version 2108, build 12527.20092

Can I try this add-in for free?

Yes. The add-in does not require an account and you can get free credits to try out our extensions.

How is my credit usage counted?

One SQL query costs one credit per every extension it retrieves data from. Credits are only consumed when at least one row is returned. Thus there is no charge for errors or for queries without results.

Can I share my credits with others?

Yes. SQL queries coming from multiple users all consume the same purchased credits.

How long are credit keys valid for?

Unused credit keys remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Where is my data stored?

Sensitive data is persisted on your computer while our servers use temporary sessions for your query data.

How is my data secured?

We follow best security practices to protect your information.

Your query data is kept on our servers only for the duration of your session, using isolated, session-specific storages.

We do not store sensitive data persistently on our servers. Connection credentials from your machine are transmitted with each SQL query using AES-GCM encryption using session-specific keys.

Where are your servers located?

Our servers are provided by Microsoft Azure cloud.
